As per a study conducted by Pennsylvania State researchers revealed that consuming 42 grams of almonds daily will enable human body reduce belly fat and also helps fight human body against various heart diseases. This study was conducted on 52 middle aged over weights who had cholesterol. The participants were given 42 grams of almonds and muffins as a part of their diet. Almonds helped them reduce their belly fat where the muffins complemented almonds and reduced cholesterol from the participants body. This study first appeared in the Journal of the American Heart Association.

Berryman said “Our research found that substituting almonds for a high-carbohydrate snack improved numerous heart health risk factors, including the new finding that eating almonds reduced belly fat,” said lead researcher of the study Claire Berryman from Pennsylvania State University. “Choosing almonds as a snack may be a simple way to help fight the onset of metabolic and cardiovascular diseases” .

Apart from eating almonds, you may even consider eating lime and honey in Luke warm water every morning on empty stomach & remember to stay hydrated at all the times. One must ensure to drink at least 16 glass of water every day.
