How do i disable Whatsapp from sharing my contact details to Facebook

There has been recent change in Whatsapp's Terms of Service (TOS) and Privacy policy. If any one had patience to read the recent revised terms carefully, it states that your number may be used to improvise on the Facebook ads which are displayed to you.

However we have got snapshot of the recent changed TOS and Privacy Policy. We believe that for some users it may benefit as they would receive relevant advertisements/marketing messages etc. But for others who wish not to share their details and opt out of getting promotional messages, there is a way to disable whatsapp from sharing the contact details to facebook.

Firstly please go through the TOS and Privacy Policy.

If you wish to disable this new change, perform the following tasks:

Open Whatsapp Messenger
Go to Settings tab
Select Account tab
Disable Share My Account Info
Done!

Please Note: Once you disable this, there is no way you can re-enable it.!
